Cooper Lace was commissioned by the owners of a private mansion in Newport, Rhode Island to weave massive lace panels that were appropriate for their painstakingly-restored Ogden Codman interior. Working with the existing ornamental woodwork, our art department created the Astor panel. These are the largest panels weve woven, and are 55wide and available in lengths up to 168(14 feet) long. They are embellished with Shell carvings, Tudor roses, Arabesques and a robust border. For those wishing to furnish a Neo-Classical interior from the Gilded Age, there is no finer choice available; these elegant cotton lace panels will lend an air of sophistication and opulence to any room.
