Bellflower by C. F. A. Voysey

Bellflower lace curtains were inspired by the English Arts and Crafts designer and architect C.F. A. Voysey, and the pattern is taken from the archives of the Tompkinson’s and Steele’s carpet mills of the British Midlands. Just after the turn of the 20th century, Voysey was commissioned to draw several patterns, including Oak & Acorn, which we have also interpreted, as a lace curtain pattern. Bellflower, shown here with Bradbury & Bradbury’s Knightsbridge Damask in Tweed, is one of our most delicate and intricate patterns, and features an interwoven checkerboard motif of dense foliates interspersed with lacy tendrils. It is intended for late Victorian and Arts & Crafts interiors, but is compatible in any home.

Custom shortening is available for $20/panel; please order the stock size longer than your desired custom length and indicate it on the order form.

All panels are delivered with a 1-1/2” rod pocket and 1” decorative header above it (unless otherwise requested).  Bottom rod pockets will be added upon request.
