Created in 1876, William Morris’ Pimpernel has long been one of his most cherished designs. Typically reproduced as a wallpaper and fabric, it was an obvious choice for our latest lace curtain panel and will enhance your home’s interior, whether it be Victorian, Arts & Crafts or Contemporary. All panels are delivered with a 1-1/2” rod pocket and 1” decorative header above it (unless otherwise requested). Bottom rod pockets will be added upon request. International shipping is available.

Pimpernel is a fine lace in the Madras weave. Madras Curtains differ from Nottingham Lace, as they are created in a two-step process that begins with a fine layer of woven scrim to which a pattern is then appliqued. The resulting heavily textured panel enhances the design in a lush manner. The term Madras was derived from its origin in the Indian city of that name; it is now woven exclusively in Scotland.
