The Art Deco lace curtain panel was designed by Steve Bauer of Bradbury & Bradbury Wallpapers. Shown here with Bradbury & Bradbury’s Christine, it is a truly striking lace curtain that blends Art Deco motifs with subtle Classical and Egyptian influences. Its gently undulating border is reminiscent of ocean waves while the scrolls and fans are the epitome of stylish Art Deco design from the 1920s and 1930s. This 100% cotton lace curtain will also coordinate perfectly in Craftsman and Mission Bungalow homes as well as Dutch Colonial, Tudor Revival and Mid-Century Modern interiors. Available as finished panels and as a lace valance.
Custom shortening is available for $20/panel; please order the stock size longer than your desired custom length and indicate it on the order form.
All panels are delivered with a 1-1/2” rod pocket and 1” decorative header above it (unless otherwise requested). Bottom rod pockets will be added upon request.

Art Deco is a fine lace in the Madras weave. Madras Curtains differ from Nottingham Lace, as they are created in a two-step process that begins with a fine layer of woven scrim to which a pattern is then appliqued. The resulting heavily textured panel enhances the design in a lush manner. The term Madras was derived from its origin in the Indian city of that name; it is now woven exclusively in Scotland.
