The introduction of Galaxy lace curtains marks the first time a lace curtain panel has been created to accompany the revival of the Mid-Century Modern style of the 1950s and 1960s. Cooper lace saw a clear need for a lace curtain that provides a clean, simple pattern for those dwelling only slightly in the past. Cooper Lace’s latest curtain pattern, Galaxy, shown here with Bradbury & Bradbury’s Googieland in Gray is unique and contemporary, and offers a perfect combination of privacy and light. Designed by Steve Bauer of Bradbury & Bradbury Art Wallpapers, Galaxy lace curtains compliment Bradbury’s many exquisite Mid-Century Modern Wallpapers.

All panels are delivered with a 1-1/2” rod pocket and 1” decorative header above it (unless otherwise requested). Bottom rod pockets will be added upon request.

Galaxy is a fine lace in the Madras weave. Madras Curtains differ from Nottingham Lace, as they are created in a two-step process that begins with a fine layer of woven scrim to which a pattern is then appliqued. The resulting heavily textured panel enhances the design in a lush manner. The term Madras was derived from its origin in the Indian city of that name; it is now woven exclusively in Scotland.
